Privacy Policy
1. Controller
Controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection laws:

Email: anton.selikow+gamesworld@googlemail.com
2. Purpose of the service
https://gamesworld.pages.dev provides free browser mini games. Personal data is processed solely to operate and improve this website and to comply with legal obligations. Registration is not required.
3. No data brokerage, no profiling for third-party advertising
We do not sell or rent user data for advertising, brokerage, or data trading purposes. We do not sell your data to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not perform automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR for these purposes.
4. Hosting and technical processing
The website is delivered via Cloudflare (CDN, security, and abuse protection; provider: Cloudflare, Inc., USA — see https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). Application logic and stored analytics data are processed on servers operated by us or our hosting provider. Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place where required.
5. Browser storage (localStorage)
For technical operation we store locally in your browser, among other things: theme preferences (light/dark), an anonymous visitor identifier for statistics, game progress, and local high scores. This serves functionality, not data trading.
6. Usage analytics
We collect anonymised usage events (e.g. page views, game starts, game-over events with scores), linked to the anonymous visitor identifier, the visited path, and — where transmitted — your browser user agent. The purpose is to improve the service and diagnose errors. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment data.
7. Log files
When accessing our service, servers and the CDN may automatically process information (e.g. IP address in truncated/protected form, timestamp, requested resource). Processing serves security (e.g. abuse prevention), operational stability, and error analysis, and is carried out with data minimisation where possible.
8. Legal bases
Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for operation, security, abuse prevention, and anonymous usage analytics.
Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR where we must retain data by law.
9. Retention
Personal data is deleted when the purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations conflict. Technical logs are usually kept only briefly; anonymous analytics may be stored longer in aggregated form.
10. Your rights
Subject to legal requirements you have in particular: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection to certain processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). See e.g. https://www.bfdi.bund.de/.
